About
This 8-team 6-a-side football league, played at Newton Prep school in Battersea, contains a mix of long-standing corporate and social teams who take advantage of the convenient early evening slot on Wednesdays - no hanging around after work waiting for kick-off or getting home at some ridiculous hour!
Unlike some 6-a-side leagues, the two large floodlit pitches allow for top quality, passing football which is played with 11-a-side(ish) rules. This means you can get into the box to toe-poke in a rebound off the keeper, or switch the play with a lofted cross-field ball, which makes for an entertaining end-to-end game.
